Meet the Team

Welcome to Little Sister Salon & Shop

We’re so glad you’re here. Nestled in the heart of Dahlonega, Georgia, our shop is a labor of love, born from a shared dream between two sisters with a passion for beauty, creativity, and community.

Meet the Sisters Behind Little Sister

Hi! I’m Chealse, the older (and possibly wiser) sister of this dynamic duo. With over 15 years of experience as a hairstylist, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel across the USA, teaching and sharing my knowledge in the hair industry. My true passion? Helping clients embrace and fall in love with their curly hair. There’s nothing quite like seeing someone’s confidence bloom when they discover how beautiful their natural curls can be.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me spending quality time with my family. I’m married to my wonderful husband, Miles, and together we’re raising our two little girls, Pippa and Libby. They’re my world and my inspiration.

Building Little Sister alongside my younger sister, Megan, has been a dream come true. We’re pouring our hearts into creating a space that feels like home—a place where you can feel beautiful, inside and out.

And Hi, I’m Megan! I’m the younger sister, though I’m taller, so I’ve got that going for me ;) I’m a graphic designer by trade and the proud owner of Crane Design Company. Dahlonega, with its charming streets and picturesque mountain views, has always been my muse. It’s where I live with my husband, Justin, and our daughter, Hazel. It’s safe to say we’ve got a little girl gang going on!

For years, Chealse and I have talked about creating something special together—something that combines our love for this town with our creative passions. Little Sister is that dream come to life. From a curated retail line inspired by the local aesthetics of Dahlonega to hobbyist classes that bring people together, we’re all about celebrating the beauty of our community.

I’m the watercolorist of the family, while Chealse is the knitter. We can’t wait to share our love for these hobbies with you through classes like Knit Night, Bouquet Making, and even an introduction to Graphic Design. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where everyone can explore their creative side.
